Australia was burning and facing ecological damage never seen in its history. Wildfires took the lives of countless animals, with many species pushed to the brink of extinction.
All ticket sales were donations to wires.org.au — Australian Wildlife Rescue — with a minimum donation of $20 requested to attend.
We collectively entered into a greater level of awareness as we directed our intentions of manifesting balance and vitality towards areas of Australia still under fire. The event began with a guest speaker recently returned from Australia, sharing information to inspire us to action. Mary Ann Sato and Jennifer Hui then bathed us in the high vibrations of their singing crystal bowls. Once our vibrations were primed, we prepared ourselves with breathing exercises to further tune our abilities to manifest healing energy towards restoring areas of Australia ravaged by wildfires. A deep guided meditation accessed our power to heal and transmit healing energy with Chi — the universal force of all creation — in tandem with distance healings provided by practitioners trained in the art of Reiki. After the meditation, Chris Dub brought us back to earth with a grounding practice so we could leave refreshed and energized.
All funds collected were donated to Wildlife Rescue Australia: Wires.org.au. Space was limited to 50 people, with pillows for meditation limited to 30 (guests were welcome to bring their own yoga mat or pillow for comfort).
The group meditation and fundraising event was broadcast on Facebook Live, so people at home or anywhere in the world could join during the meditation.
Google Maps published live updates on the status of wildfires in Australia at google.org/crisismap/australia.
